RD Calculator
Recurring deposit maturity and interest
How to Use the RD Calculator
A Recurring Deposit lets you invest a fixed amount every month. This calculator finds the maturity value and interest earned.
- Enter your monthly deposit amount.
- Enter the annual interest rate.
- Set the tenure in months.
- Review the maturity value and total interest.
Recurring Deposit Math
Maturity Value
M = Σ P × (1 + r/4)^(n) per installment
Each monthly deposit compounds quarterly until maturity, so earlier deposits earn more.
Example:
Input: ₹5,000/mo at 7% for 12 months
Calculation: quarterly compounding per installment
Result: ≈ ₹62,265
Typical RD Scenarios
